Ice DIving
This program provides the skills and concepts required to safely and comfortably dive underneath the ice.
Please Note:
When selecting your preferred course date, be aware that pool sessions and open-water sessions may occur at different locations and on separate dates. Ensure you review both schedules carefully to confirm they align with your availability.
Classroom Session on Feb 7 will be via Teams

Pool Session on Feb 7 will be at East Lions Community Center London
Pool Session on Feb 14 will be at Fergus Centre Wellington Sportsplex
ALL Open Waters will be at the Glen Christie Quarry. ** Times are approx.
You must be minimum 18 years of age, hold an SSI Advanced Specialty Diver Certification (or equivalent), have a minimum of 50 logged dives (20 being cold water) to participate. You also must have a Primary and Secondary light.

This program provides the skills and concepts required to safely and comfortably dive underneath surface ice. You will learn the special requirements for diving in an overhead environment, the techniques and communication methods, and the specialized equipment used for ice diving. You will earn the SSI Ice Diving Specialty certification after completing this program.
